Last week we announced our revolutionary character choices addition. This week we bring you something new! Don’t you feel like Smarty Symbols got great news coming each week? That’s because we do have some amazing news to share EACH WEEK! We are so happy to share that we added one hundred NEW images to our online portal this week. The new images are a result of you, all great users, who have been sending us suggestions for new images. Some of this week’s vocabulary addition includes: zookeeper, wheelbarrow, merman, mermaid, gumbo, breast feed, flurries, butterfly farm, bus schedule, bunks and bubble tube.

Did you know that since we launched in 2014 we have added nearly two thousand images? Here at Smarty Symbols, we are constantly updating and creating images to fulfill the needs of our subscribers. It is so important to us to give you the most diverse and versatile library of images as possible. This gives you the flexibility to create fantastic materials for your students and clients.

As you may have already seen, we now offer options for adult and elderly character choices as well as one symbol with multiple characters. This gives you the ability to customize projects and materials to be the very best fit for your students/clients. You will see that as we add new images, this ongoing theme of the representation of multiple characters will continue. We strive to give our subscribers a variety of verbs, pronouns, and core vocabulary words.   It is our ultimate goal to give you a variety of options to create projects, materials, and AAC tools for clients/students of all ages.

We just wanted to remind all of you of a really fantastic feature on our website: The printing center. You have the ability to “create a page” by adding any of our images to specific cells, download the document and press print! Of course if you don’t need to create a page, you can easily download individual image files.
